Camp & Class Details

Each camp is taught by our full-time faculty and/or staff and the curriculum provides students with hands on projects, activities and team based learning. The camps model our mottos of Theory and Practice, and Be Curious. Make Magic.
Please check out the information above for a detailed listing of the camps and descriptions of activities associated with each camp.
For classes, students do not need to bring anything. These items are included in the price of the camp and will be provided for campers on the first day.
Camps will be in session from June 23, until July 25, 2025 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

While at Camp

Residential campers live in 利记sbo Residence Halls. Depending on the number of campers each year, the specific residence hall is subject to change. More details will be provided to residential campers closer to the start of camps.
TBD will be used for 2025 summer camps.
Students traveling from out of state will be provided linens, pillows and blankets for their beds. However, in state students should bring their own. Students also should bring their own toiletry items; shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc. We also recommend bringing some spending money for any evening activities. We recommend bringing games for in the dorms, but not expensive electronic devices that can be lost or stolen. It will be the camper’s responsibility to secure their belongings in their room prior to them leaving for the days or evening activities.
Lawrence Tech’s on campus dining services provide food for the camps. Day campers get lunch each day and residential campers get breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. Day campers can pay an additional cost to also receive breakfast and dinner each day.
Residential students should arrive the Sunday before the camp between 3 - 5 p.m to East Hall (Building 13). Dinner will be served in East Hall at 6 p.m. each Sunday. Students will meet the camp counselors and resident assistants when they arrive and they will escort the students to the evening activities, breakfast and dinner.

Commuter students will check in by 8:30 a.m. in the Atrium of the Buell Management Building (Building 5) on the Monday the camp begins.
Please eat breakfast prior to arriving for camp.
Campers should be picked up between 4:30pm and 5:00pm. There is a late pick-up fee for any students not picked up by 5:00pm
The summer camps team has dedicated camp counselors and the residence hall also has resident assistants and professional staff on duty 24/7. The camp counselors live in the housing unit with the campers for the week and take the campers to breakfast and dinner each day. They will also participate in activities with the students each evening. In addition, each housing unit has a live-in Resident Hall Coordinator, who is a full-time Lawrence Tech staff member.
We will put campers together if they request it ahead of time. Otherwise, campers are placed into room by gender and notified who their roommate is at check-in. Rooms are 2-person and availability of rooms is determined by the Office of University Housing
